Special Interest Organizations
Clubs and extracurricular organizations are organized for the purpose of promoting, conserving, and strengthening interest within particular fields.
Black Student Union - This organization exists to initiate reforms where needed in obliterating discriminatory practices on campus; to introduce and display various aspects of Afro-American culture and history; to secure a liaison between students, administration and faculty; to further promote the Christian concepts of Lambuth University; to promote unity and awareness of issues affecting all Blacks; and to provide fellowship and social functions for black students on campus.

D.E.L.I.S.H – Dining Eating Lambuth Inspired Special Home - Cooking is a cooking club for students interested in the art of cooking and having fun with friends over a meal. Ms. Dawn Key, Advisor
Fellowship of Christian Athletes – FCA is a group open to all students that focuses on worship, praise, and faith sharing. Rev. Tiffany Padgitt, Advisor
International Students Association - An association of international and American students interested in foreign countries. ISA is open to all students from different countries and cultures, as well as American students with an interest in and knowledge of foreign cultures. The group sponsors various activities to encourage international life on campus, such as chapel hours, picnics, participation in Homecoming, and other student clubs' activities. The club also holds a yearly banquet and International Day. ISA members are available as speakers for community activities and events.
Phi Sigma Eta - This organization is a local service sorority open to all Christian women at Lambuth. The purpose of the organization is to help members to grow in their relationship with Christ while developing close relationships with other Christian women and to promote leadership and service among the women of Lambuth University. A genuine interest in Christian principles and growth is the primary consideration for membership.
Pre-Ministerial Student Organization – Pre-Ministerial is a group for students that are considering any type of ministry as a vocation. Some students feel called to ordained ministry, but many others are exploring other paths of ministry such as counseling, social services, youth ministry and music ministry. Rev. Religious Life Council – RLC is the umbrella organization for all other religious groups on campus. Mission events and worship retreats are some of the goals of RLC. Rev. Tiffany Padgitt, Advisor
Student Global AIDS Campaign - SGAC is a national, chapter-based campaign dedicated to ending HIV and AIDS in the US and around the world through political advocacy. SGAC believes that by fighting HIV and AIDS they are promoting a broader vision of global justice. For more information contact Dr. Spires, Advisor.
Student Publications - Students who enjoy writing, editing, taking pictures, typing, working on layouts, or selling ads are encouraged to get involved with one or more of Lambuth's student publications. Each of the groups work under the direction of an editorial board. The Vision is the university newspaper and is issued throughout the school year. The Coffeehouse Papers is the university publication for creative works including poems, short stories, drawings, and other media. The Lantern is the University's yearbook.
True Love Waits - An organization made up of students from all classes that want to make sexual purity a reality for the individual and others. The organization's mission is two-fold: 1) to bring greater understanding of sexual purity and the tools by which to maintain sexual purity, and 2) to reach outside the organization to others both at Lambuth and the surrounding community. U.N.I.T.E.D – U niting the N ation I n spite of T he E thnical D ifferences seeks to solidify the idea that all men are created equal, and emphasize the belief that we are all united under God. The organization celebrated and promotes diversity among the student body and works to foster a sense of community. Reuben Burnley, Advisor
