School of Business & Economics

To give Lambuth Business students a competitive edge in the marketplace, our faculty and concentration programs enable students to intern at local and regional businesses while acquiring knowledge in business theory and the complementary core curriculum.

Accounting
Lambuth professors have worked with professional accountants in the area to design a curriculum that focuses on problem-solving and real-life situations instead of just textbook exercises. Our Accounting program curriculum is based on five competencies identified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Computer Information Systems
For students who are interested in computer-related careers, the Computer Information Systems concentration offers basic theories relevant to current technologies and the computer skills required to excel in the business world.

Economics
As a problem-oriented social science, the Economics concentration deals with important issues such as inflation, monopoly, unemployment, poverty, free enterprise, and healthcare. Students who are very proficient in math find Economics to be an exciting way to apply their talents.

International Business
A new program at Lambuth, International Business offers students the opportunity to acquire a range of knowledge applicable to the business world including international accounting, international marketing, and international political economics.

Management
Student majoring in Management receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) with a concentration in Management. Coursework helps students develop skills in describing, interpreting, and evaluating statistical data.

Marketing
By effectively combining theory and practice, the Marketing program includes the latest marketing theories as well as hands-on experience in internships and class projects.
