Admission Requirements
Lambuth University admits students who embody the university's ideals and objectives and who are qualified by their intellect, previous education, emotional and physical health, and character to do the work required at Lambuth. The University Admissions Committee evaluates each applicant's file for strengths, weaknesses, and exceptional circumstances.
Requirements for regular admission to Lambuth's freshman class:
- Graduation from an approved secondary school
- 20 ACT (SAT 930, recentered), 500 TOEFL (International students), or 80 Michigan Placement Test
- 2.0 overall GPA
Applicants not meeting the above standards may be reviewed by the Admissions Committee which may grant special admission after considering test scores, grades, rank in class, school and community activities, and recommendations in its review of applications.
It is highly recommended that applicants take as many units as possible in the following areas:
- Foreign language
- History
- Mathematics
- Natural Science
- English
