School of Humanities
As a student in this school you can discuss issues related to our humanity: our beliefs, philosophies, languages, and literature. Students attend lectures, write papers, meet with faculty about their class work, and can enjoy faculty forums sponsored by the School.
English
From Greek tragedies to contemporary fiction, an English major offers an exciting exploration of literature through readings, class discussion, and writing projects. There are also opportunities for creative writing through courses and The Coffeehouse Papers, Lambuth's literary and visual arts magazine.
Foreign Languages
Students interested in becoming proficient speakers of French, Spanish, or German find Lambuth's Foreign Language major to be a great way to gain writing and speaking skills. Many courses offer CD-ROM activities and with study abroad and organized foreign language programs such as lunches and tutoring, there are many ways to make the most of Lambuth's Foreign Language offerings.
Concentrations: French, German, Spanish
Religion and Philosophy
While most Religion majors plan to attend a seminary or graduate school, some students choose this major because of their innate desire to help others and reach a deeper understanding of church and society. A Philosophy minor within the Religion major is also available.
